Photo Scanning & Digitisation
We carefully scan each of your photos individually by hand on flatbed scanner's using the latest technology to get the best possible reproduction of your image.
We then convert your images to digital files (jpeg @ 300dpi*) and copy them to a Data disc (DVD) or USB Memory stick†.
(*other formats available upon request. †additional cost for USB Memory stick).
Choose from three levels of service Basic, Standard & Premium or a mixture of all three.

30p Each
»
Ideal if you have good quality photos or simply just want to scan a collection.
Standard - 55p Each » Choose this service if your photos are showing their age and need a bit of love.
Premium - 80p Each » If your photos have seen better days, then this is the service for you.
Part Restoration - From £1 to £15 » If your photos are moderately faded or damage & marked then they may need a little more work. Each photo will be assessed individually an we will confirm the cost with you before commencing any work.
Full Restoration - From £15 » For heavily damaged photos that require a lot of work to bring them back to their former glory. Each photo is assessed individually. For more details on our restoration service please visit our restoration section.
If you have photos that fall in to more than one category, are unsure which service to choose or simply don't have time to count them yourself, don't worry, we are more than happy to sort all your photos and confirm the details/cost with you before commencing any work.
No upfront cost - Once your order is completed we will issue an invoice and send/deliver your original photos, a data disc/memory stick containing your digitised images and any additional media you have requested.
How do I send you my Photos?
In Person - You are more than welcome to drop off your media at The Hive in Wakefield where our office is situated.
Please note: As we sometimes do live video edits as part of our work, it is not always possible to meet us in person so it is usually best to contact us first to ensure we have someone available to help you.
Alternatively you can hand your media to our receptionist and we will contact you once we have collected it to confirm the details of your requirements.
The reception is open 10am till 4pm Monday to Thursday & 10am till 3pm Friday. Please don't forget to leave your contact details.
By Post - Carefully pack your Media, include your contact details and send them to us at The Hive via courier such as Royal Mail, UPS, Evri, DPD etc. We also recommend using a tracked or signed for option.
We can come to you - We also offer a collection & delivery service and for our most local customers its free. If you would like to arrange collection of your Tapes, please contact us to organise a day and time that is convenient for you.
