Photo Restoration
Do you have a special photo from days gone by that needs some love and attention to bring it back to its former glory?
Has it been damaged by folding or tearing, is it faded or does it even have a piece missing? Then we can help, using the latest equipment & technology we could restore it so it looks nearly as good as the day it was taken.
How do I send you my Photos?
Upload - You may just have one or two photos that require work, if you have access to a scanner you can email or upload them to us. If you have a lot of photos or are unable to scan them yourself you can of course send them to us.
In Person - You are more than welcome to drop off your media at The Hive in Wakefield where our office is situated.
Please note: As we sometimes do live video edits as part of our work, it is not always possible to meet us in person so it is usually best to contact us first to ensure we have someone available to help you.
Alternatively you can hand your media to our receptionist and we will contact you once we have collected it to confirm the details of your requirements.
The reception is open 10am till 4pm Monday to Thursday & 10am till 3pm Friday. Please don't forget to leave your contact details.
By Post - Carefully pack your Media, include your contact details and send them to us at The Hive via courier such as Royal Mail, UPS, Evri, DPD etc. We also recommend using a tracked or signed for option.
We can come to you - We also offer a collection & delivery service and for our most local customers its free. If you would like to arrange collection of your Tapes, please contact us to organise a day and time that is convenient for you.
How much does it cost?
Photo Restoration starts at £15 per photo, as each and every photo is different we will inspect your image(s) to asses what work needs to be done and contact you with a quote before completing the restoration process. In the event of you not wanting to proceed we will of course return your originals back to you.
No deposit required - Once your order is completed we will issue an invoice and send/deliver your original photos, new prints if required, a data disc/memory stick containing your digitised images and any additional media you have requested.
Are there any photos we can not restore?
To put it simply - Yes.
Whilst we love the great reactions from our customers when they see photos we have restored, there are limitations to what can be done. One of the biggest challenges when restoring photos is having enough source material to work from, so if the original has a lot of heavy damage there simply might not be enough to work with.
But... There is a lot we can do so get in touch and let us help you relive your memories.
