The camera never lies.... but sometimes, we can change what it says.
Do you have a black & white photo that would look great in colour or a photo that needs an unwanted object or person removing? Maybe you have a photo that needs to have the background changed or even someone adding in from a different photo.
What can be done?
Black & White to Colour - Enhance that special photo by having it coloured.
People/Objects removed - Did someone get in the way? Then let us digitally remove them.
Background - Remove distracting parts or change it to a different background altogether.
People added in from a different photo - Someone miss the group photo? Let us add them in, or merge several photos together.
How do I send you my Photos?
Upload - You may just have one or two photos that require work, if you have access to a scanner you can email or upload them to us. If you have a lot of photos or are unable to scan them yourself you can of course send them to us.
In Person - You are more than welcome to drop off your media at The Hive in Wakefield where our office is situated.
Please note: As we sometimes do live video edits as part of our work, it is not always possible to meet us in person so it is usually best to contact us first to ensure we have someone available to help you.
Alternatively you can hand your media to our receptionist and we will contact you once we have collected it to confirm the details of your requirements.
The reception is open 10am till 4pm Monday to Friday. Please don't forget to leave your contact details.
By Post - Carefully pack your Media, include your contact details and send them to us at The Hive via courier such as Royal Mail, UPS, Evri, DPD etc. We also recommend using a tracked or signed for option.
We can come to you - We also offer a collection & delivery service and for our most local customers its free. If you would like to arrange collection of your Tapes, please contact us to organise a day and time that is convenient for you.
How much does it cost?
Photo Manipulation starts at £15 per photo, as each and every photo is different we will inspect your image(s) to asses what work needs to be done and contact you with a quote before completing the manipulation process. In the event of you not wanting to proceed we will of course return your originals back to you.
No deposit required - Once your order is completed we will issue an invoice and send/deliver your original photos, new prints if required, a data disc/memory stick containing your digitised images and any additional media you have requested.
Are there any photos we can not manipulate?
To put it simply - Yes.
Using the very latest technology a lot can be achieved but there are some consideration's to take into account
Black & White to Colour - The original photo needs to be of a high quality with lots of "depth", if it is very out of focus or "flat" it may not be possible to convert it.
People/Objects Removed - If the person/object is in the foreground or takes up too much of the photo they may not be enough source material to work with.
Background Changes - Whilst it is possible to change background the two photos need to be a similar aspect for it to look convincing. It may be better to fade the background and leave the foreground sharp.
People added in - The photos that are being merged need to be taken under similar conditions and in the same aspect for it to look real.
But... There is a lot we can do so get in touch and we will be happy to analyse your photo and advise you on the most appropriate method to achieve your desired results.
